Android setup

Your phone and Mac, working together.

Independent use requires the compatible Mac app. Check Mac App Store availability before installing Android; then copy selected files in either direction.

Next steps

Choose files on either device. Approve where they go.

1

Check Mac availability

Check that Chicklee Link for Mac is available to you in the Mac App Store. Then get the compatible Android app from Google Play.

2

Open the Mac app

Keep Chicklee Link open on both devices and use a suitable shared local connection or your phone's password-protected hotspot.

3

Pair your phone

Compare the number on your phone and Mac, then confirm on Android. Pairing does not start a copy.

4

Copy and check

Use Android to choose which device has the files. Select files there, then approve Receive Files on the receiving device. The Mac counts one shared daily free allowance across both directions and handles any larger-batch unlock.

Local transfer

Selected files travel directly between your devices.

Chicklee uses your local connection and leaves originals in place. It does not copy whole folders or use a Chicklee cloud relay for file contents.

If you are joining an arranged Android feedback session, the host supplies the Mac. That session is separate from independent use with your own Mac.
